ANYONE BRINGING ANIMALS Please observe our 4-week health quarantine and have your animals checked at the health check table. Do not bring your animals if you had symptoms of infectious disease or parasites during quarantine. Do not bring anything illegal in Maryland. All animals should be housed in travel safe cages. After any show/event we also recommend you quarantine any incoming animals for 3-4 weeks before putting them with your main colony/group, no matter what event or place the animal was purchased from. We recommend providing cucumber, grapes, or another moisture source (where appropriate for your pet's species) if water bottles can't be hung in transit. Please label cages clearly if the animal(s) are intended for a specific person, for sale/adoption, or are a strict "do not touch". Extra cage signs may be available at the door. You may sell or give away your animals. However, this is a pet event and not suitable for selling animals bred or marketed as "feeders". We recommend those selling/adopting animals have a sale or adoption contract. Vendors: feel free to bring flyers & any additional information about your rodenty or business. People love to see business cards, photos, and hand-outs! Care sheets are a great idea to help the new owners. THE FINE PRINT We reserve the right to refuse entry to individual animals, cages of animals, or a whole carload if the health checker(s) feel they may be a infectious disease or parasite risk. Decision of the health checker is final. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone for violating any of these rules at this or any prior Rodent Club / Rodent Fest event. For the safety of your animals, all animals should have a cage, pen, and/or leash. |
